I Scream Soft-ware

Some days the software world tastes like a freezer full of forbidden flavors — cold, bright, swirling with new tech that crackles on your tongue.
I’m there happily crafting my own cone, stacking scoops like:
- Quantum Ripple — cool, strange, expanding in directions no one warned me about
- Serverless Sorbet — weightless, citrus‑sharp, gone before it hits the bowl
- Container Crunch — crisp little frozen shards that snap like they’re mid‑deploy
- Microservice Mint — each flake independent, yet somehow singing in harmony
I’m elbow‑deep in the cold, swirling my own creation, when a vendor wanders over holding a scoop that looks… familiar.
With a grin:
“We build platforms! Want us to build you a platform?”
And I’m standing there, cone dripping with flavors I literally just engineered, thinking:
Friend.
I’m already in the freezer.
I’m already churning the same flavors you’re selling.
Sometimes smoother. Sometimes cleaner. Sometimes with fewer mystery sprinkles.
It’s like offering someone ice cream while they’re in the middle of making their own batch.
But hey — everyone’s scooping.
Everyone’s hoping their flavor hits the right palate at the right moment.
Everyone wants to be the next “cool” thing in the cold room.
Still, the irony?
Absolutely delicious. It’s the universal moment every builder knows:
the polite smile, the internal scream, the quiet acknowledgment that we’re all a little unhinged in this frozen laboratory of ideas.
And that’s when the mantra hits — the only one that ever really fits:
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream… soft‑served with sprinkle ware.
